Workbook Logger
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Workbook Logger helps you prepare work-time entries from Jira activity and submit reviewed entries to WorkBook.
Data the extension handles
If you connect Jira, the extension receives your Atlassian account and site details and OAuth tokens. It reads activity from the Jira projects you choose, including issue keys, summaries, configured job and task fields, and change or comment activity used to find work for a selected day.
If you connect WorkBook, the extension saves your WorkBook tenant address and employee identifier. It uses your existing signed-in WorkBook browser session to read available jobs, tasks, and time entries. When you submit a time entry, the extension reads the CSRF-Token cookie for that WorkBook tenant and sends its value in the CSRF-Token request header to WorkBook. The cookie remains browser-managed; the extension does not save the cookie or token in extension storage or send it to the Workbook Logger Worker. It does not save your WorkBook password.
Your draft logs, settings, connection details, and Jira tokens are stored in Chrome extension storage on your device. They are not stored in a Workbook Logger database.
Where data goes
Jira sign-in and Jira requests go to Atlassian. The extension sends Jira sign-in codes and token refresh requests through a Cloudflare Worker, which forwards them to Atlassian. The Worker code does not save your tokens or work logs in a database. Cloudflare hosts the Worker and may process service and diagnostic data to operate it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Requests to read or submit WorkBook data go to the WorkBook tenant you connected. A time entry is sent to WorkBook only when you submit it. Atlassian and WorkBook handle data sent to their services under their own privacy terms.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting data
Local logs and settings stay in Chrome extension storage until you use “Clear local data,” clear the extension's browser data, or uninstall the extension. “Clear local data” does not disconnect accounts. Disconnect Jira to remove its saved tokens. Disconnect WorkBook to remove its saved connection. Your WorkBook sign-in session is managed by WorkBook.
Clearing this extension does not delete entries already submitted to WorkBook or data held by Jira. Contact those services to manage data in their systems.
